CreativeWink (“we”) is an educational website for students of all ages. We collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what we store, why, and your choices.
1. Using CreativeWink without an account
You can use every free tool without signing up. Your XP, badges, streaks, saved drawings, writing, flashcard decks and settings are saved in your own browser's local storage on your device. This information is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it; you can export a backup from My Progress.
2. Optional accounts
If you create an account we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and a copy of your progress (XP, badges and stats) so it can sync between devices. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us. Accounts for children under 13 should be created by a parent or guardian.
3. CreativeWink Plus and Google
Memberships and contributions are provided through Google Reader Revenue Manager. When you subscribe or contribute, you deal directly with Google: Google processes the payment and tells our website whether your Google account has an active membership. We do not receive or store card, UPI or bank details. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. To support this, pages load a script from news.google.com.
4. Other third-party services
- Google Fonts — to display our typefaces.
- flagcdn.com — flag images in World Explorer.
- Your browser's speech engine — read-aloud features use the voice built into your device; text is not sent to us.
We do not show third-party advertising and we do not sell personal information.
5. Children
CreativeWink is designed to be safe for children: no chat, no public profiles, no personal data required to play. We ask that purchases be made by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information without consent, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us through the contact page.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
